Christina C Rivera, also known as C.C., is the founder and owner of H2U+ and an experienced massage therapist, certified in ELDOA and Myofacial Release. Christina has a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology, with a dance emphasis, from the University of Northern Colorado. She is also internationally certified as a professional massage therapist according to the high standards of the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (A.B.M.P.). She has been practicing massage since 1993.

Christina specializes in a variety of different techniques and fine-tunes them according to your body’s needs. Some of these techniques are Myotherapy, Neuroenergetic Release, and Swedish. “Myotherapy” is a deep tissue method of massage which erases pain from its source specific “trigger points” (where pain originates). “Neuroenergetic Release” works with muscular, neurological and energetic systems of the body all simultaneously. By working these systems, soft tissues as well as posture and the alignment of the skeletal system are influenced and the body is restored to its natural health. “Swedish” massage is the most common form of massage, which mainly relaxes the muscles and eases aches and pains.

Christina is also the founder of the “Hartsch Technique” which is a specialized form of massage that combines postural analysis and massage, specifically designed for each individual body, and customized to fit each person’s needs!

Christina takes appointments Tuesday through Thursday mornings and early afternoons. The initial session takes 90 minutes, as it includes a formal evaluation of your body’s muscle structure. Included in your session will be special stretches and exercises that you can do at home to make you feel ever so wonderful!
